Kathy was employed for over eight years at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Northbrook.  She is also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Over the last eight years she has gained a wealth of knowledge related to dogs and cats.

Kathy has always had a dream to own her own business and has always had a passion for animals (she has five!).  In September of 2009, she decided to put her passion for animals together with her dream of owning a business in order to found "The Irish Sitter".
